Minami Izu

Minamiizu-Town is located at the southernmost tip of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture.

About three and a half hours by car and three hours by train from Tokyo.
Ideal for those who enjoy warm weather and it is rich in nature because more than 70% of the area is surrounded by mountains and forests.
It is also a popular tourist spot, including “Yumigahama”, where you can enjoy swimming and sea kayaking, “Irozaki”in a geopark, and “Shimogamo Onsen(hot springs)”, which has an abundance of hot water.

On the other hand, if you move a little away from the tourist spots and urban areas, you will find villages dotted with nostalgic rural landscapes that will make you feel as if you have stepped into the world of a Ghibli anime.
It is an wonderful place where you can relax as the gentle flow of time and nature gently soothes your mind and body.

Please come and experience Minami Izu, which is more than just a tourist spot.
